Accounting is not that prestiges therefore people at Ivy schools go on to bigger and better things. All you need to learn for Accounting is the basics and to make sure the curriculum is taught properly.
Most of the schools on those lists although in the middle of no where do have sufficient amount of recruiters visting there school. The main point is that the firms beleive that those schools teach the curriculum well enough to hire there students. If you go to a school make sure it is in the vicinity of the area you want to work.
There is mobility but it helps to be near the area. Contact the firms or schools you want to confirm that they recruit from certain schools most firms are very helpful if not in busy season.
