IMO C....

Sum 6 terms/sum of 3 terms = 9

a(1-r^6)/(1-r) = 9 { a(1-r^3)/(1-r) }

1 - r^6 = 9 (1 - r^3)
r^6 - 9r^3 + 8 = 0
(r^3 - 8)(r^3 - 1) = 0

r=2 or r=1

r=1 not possible ...as it is increasing G.P. ...so r=2
