Will we get tested on Geometric Series. I always knew arithmetic series was in the syllabus... not sure about Geometric?

You may, I've seen it come up in a "which of the following is also a Geometric progression", but the concept was clearly explained and defined in the question itself. The GMAT will never ask you questions based purely on a concept unless they define it explicitly in the question stem.

They may, for example, refer to it as a series and define a few of its terms to give you the picture.

So I will not need to know the formula for Geometric series... thats great news..

They can just as easily create a problem on Geometric series, but i haven't come across a problem yet
