George Washington University [#permalink]

For some reason, whenever people talk about the top MAcc programs, I never hear about George Washington and I want to know why that is. It's obviously one of the top universities in the country and is located in DC so you would think it would be a top grad program. But its not even mentioned on the Public Accounting Report and I dont know anyone who has applied there. The mean GMAT is a 650 so it should be pretty good.
I applied there anyway and should hear back any day. I just want to know if anyone knows anything at all about the program or if its highly recruited. Thanks for the help

I work in a big firm in the DC area, and I don't know any of the other 1st year staff that came from GW. Most are UVA, Virginia Tech, JMU, filled out with a hodgepodge of William & Mary, Mason, Texas, BYU, and Notre Dame. That's just my experience, though.
