Interesting. What's the objective? Seems like they want to assess their test w.r.t actual GMAT.

Is it only a test or does the test taker also need to provide some more information relevant to the actual test? Ofcourse I do not mean the actual questions?

Thanks for your interest in the program.

We are constantly striving to provide the very best GMAT CAT experience.

For now we are only looking for people who have taken -- or will take -- the GMAT within 7 days. This may change in future, but for now those are the rules.

Please let me know if you have any more questions,
Josh

Thanks Josh.
Just to clarify - you want the person to take the practice CAT test within 7 days of taking the GMAT (before or after) but you will have the opportunity to do that for a few weeks, correct? (meaning if I take the GMAT in 2 weeks from now, I can take the CAT in a week or 10 days from now).

In my opinion, it is a great opportunity to make the GMAT cost $150 vs$250.
If you were thinking/waiting/planning to take the test in a month or later on, you may want to set the date in a few weeks and get the $100 rebate. (By the way, what is the means of refunding? paypal?) _________________ Founder of GMAT Club Just starting out with GMAT? Start here... | Want to know your GMAT Score? I'm taking the exam next week and would like to know if I can take part. sorry for posting twice.

But I agree with BB - it's a great way to subsidize the cost of GMAT. I've already "signed up" through the link, but would like to know the nitty details of how things work. Thanks in advance!

Re: Get Paid $100 to take a GMAT practice test conditions apply [#permalink] 09 Apr 2010, 09:24 2 This post received KUDOS Thanks for the questions. Yes, you can sign up today if you are taking the test in, say, a month. And I will contact you a week before your scheduled exam to say that you have two weeks to take our CAT (one before test and one week after). No one will get paid without producing a score report from the actual GMAT. We can mail people a check. There will be no "refund" as we are not affiliated with the actual GMAT. Though, yes, it is a nice way to get paid to study for the exam. For those who take our test after taking the actual GMAT (and yes we want you folks too), we want to make sure you are incentivized -- so if your score on our tests is not within 120 points of your actual score you will not get paid. Hopefully helpful, Josh _________________ Josh Anish Senior Editor Knewton, Inc Free GMAT Club tests ($250 value) in addition to any other discounts or coupons when you buy the Knewton Course with KnewtonBest-GMAT-Club discount code.

I have tried to give Knewton GMAT exam in order to get 100$off(I had exam on 04.07.2010), but couldn't begin the exam. 1st, I have completed survey and then there was nothing else. After survey I just received the below message. "Would you like to be considered for participation in our GMAT promotion? Thank you for taking our survey. Your response is very important to us. 100% Online Surveys powered by SurveyGizmo" What was the problem!?
