Getting a private loan [#permalink] New post 28 Mar 2010, 20:40
How do international students get a private loan without a cosigner? I am in the US on an H1b.
Is it as simple as calling Citi Bank and requesting a quote? Or will the school put people in touch with private institutions?

contact your school financial aid office .. they do have tie-ups with banking institution ... but with the financial turmoil most of the institutions are now asking for a co-siigner from a GC/Citizen for big loans ...
