Mike  First, choice A can be eliminated as it has no verb and is only a fragmant. choice E can be eliminated for incorrect use of that. Now C and D both can be simply eliminated for incorrect idion not only X but also Y. B is the clear winner without any grammatical error. Ans B it is!

Correct. C. which will be enhanced by a regular regimen of physical exercise, having significant consequences for not only one’s immediate short term health, and for the immune system’s ability to fight. Incorrect. Fragment issue and idiom error. D. which will be enhanced by a regular regimen of physical exercise, has significant consequences not only for one’s immediate short term health, and also for the immune system’s ability in fighting. Incorrect. Idiom issue. Not only but also is correct idiom. E. that will be enhanced by a regular regimen of physical exercise, which has significant consequences not only for one’s immediate short term health, and the immune system can fight. Incorrect. fragment issue and which wrongly modifies physical exercise thus, changing the meaning.

ABILITY TO is correct idiom , which only option B & C has.
Option B is parallel while using Not only for ...but also for.
Correct Ans. B
