(1) a is 3 more than 5 times b

(2) The ratio of 4a to 5b is greater than 4

(1) a=5b+3
thus (5b+3)/b>5 ??
(5b+3-5b)/b>0
3/b>0

or any value of b a:b>5
suff

(2) 4a/5b>4
(4a-20b)/5b>0
as b is +ve
thus 4a>20b
a>5b
thus a/b>5
suff
