Email I received from the GMAC. Press release attached.
I hope you’re doing well. It’s been some time since we spoke at last fall’s test prep summit, but I wanted to share some exciting news from GMAC. Attached is a press release that GMAC is releasing today regarding the new GMAC MET Fund and a contest to help improve graduate management education.
The Fund is looking for ideas from faculty, staff, students, or anyone interested, to answer the question: What 1 idea could improve graduate management education? We are awarding a total of 15 prizes for the top submissions, with a total of $250,000 for these ideas. The next phase of the Ideas to Innovation Challenge, which should begin early in 2011, is to encourage schools and programs to take one of these top ideas and submit a proposal to implement an idea, with the GMAC MET Fund providing the funds. The Fund’s website is http://www.gmacmetfund.org
, and on Twitter at http://twitter.com/GMACMETFund
I encourage you to share the information with your colleagues and students, as well as anyone else you believe might be appropriate. Questions can be directed to me or email@example.com
