Hi all;
Ive been a silent reader on this forum. I took the GMAT today after a year since by last attempt. I was utterly disappointed to see the exact same score I had a year ago pop up.
What is really alarming is the fact that I Was sure through out the Math section of my answers being a 100 % correct. only after the 33rd question did I stumble on 2 - 3 questions since I did not have the time to solve the complex long PS questions.
Further even the verbal section was throwing really hard questions, with a long passage bold faced CR questions etc.
Since i had taken the GMAT Prep two days prior to the exam, and got a 760 (50 Q, 44V) i was sure i was doing equally well. The only issue in verbal was the running out of time following the 33rd question. I had back to back CR's and a RC and i guess those were not handled as well as i handled the rest of the verbal.
I am really down on morale yet what is bothering me is the fact that I have practiced a lot for the verbal section and am actually confident with the verbal section. The same however did not reflect in the score.
Can some one, who some how can understand my situation guide me through to figure what exactly i am doing wrong? What is it that i cannot see yet is resulting in a dismal GMAT performance? Why wont my GMAT scores at home reflect into my real GMAT scores.
My
MGMAT scores have ranged from
680-720
. I look to hear from you guys......
thanks
