GMAT : 580 (Verbal : 21 and Maths : 49) Any chance? [#permalink] New post 31 Aug 2004, 02:00
Dear all,

Today, I was shocked after knowing my GMAT score : 580 (Verbal 21 and Math 49). Frankly speaking, I have never thought that I will get such a very ugly score. I am really disappointed right now. Anyway, this is my first time for GMAT. From my profile, anyone can suggest whether I have a chance to pursure my Phd in Finance? Right now, I almost loss all of my confidence

TOEFL : 267
GMAT : 580 (Verbal : 21 and Maths : 49)
Area of study : PhD in Finance.

Can anyone suggest prospect university for me? I know that first/second tier is beyond my ability. I do not have my favor countries, US/UK/AUS. Thank you very much for your suggestion.

Best regards,
Pumkrub.

I am don't have any special expertise in PhD admissions. But if you were expecting a higher score, I suggest you retake the GMAT, working to improve your verbal score. The quant is fine.

Good luck!
