Hi Friends,

My profile is as below,

WE :- 6+ yrs Banking and Credit cards
GPA :- 3.5
GMAT :- 670
AWA :- 4.0

I applied to Duke in the early decision round , so what are the chances with 670 score getting into Duke. i heard that even if you have little low GMAT score you can get into good B-school if you apply early. Is that true ?

Other schools I applied are,

2. Vanderbilt

You can get in schools, regardless of the round. Early simply shows eagerness for that specific school, therefore, it's favorably looked upon. With 670, it's going to be tough with Duke, but you still have a shot. One thing that may draw a red flag is your verbal ability. Your V34 and AWA of 4.0 are not a good combo, but it is what it is. I think you have more of a shot at the other 3 schools than you'd have with Fuqua right now.

Thanks a lot , i know my AWA is not good score, but still trying for DUKE as in this economy it is high risk to go for a low ranking B-school.
