I just took my GMAT today and got a 690. I want to break at least 700 and get around 710-730. I did extremely well on the verbal but my Quant sucks! If my Quant was on par with my math, I would be in the 740-750 range... Math has always been my weak point... I feel like my nerves got the best of me today as I spent too much time on simple problems that would normally take me 30 seconds to solve when studying. I think it's very much a confidence issue as well.
I'm already planning on retaking the exam but wanted some feedback from you guys as to when would be the best time for me to take it; early enough so that I do not get rusty and later enough so that I have additional time to brush up on some concepts. Any thoughts?
Also, I prepared using the official GMAT and Kaplan
review materials. Have any of you found other sources to be better? I feel like Kaplan
's materials didn't quite prepare me well enough for the types of math problems I encountered today.
Thanks in advance,
