Hello Admission Consultants,
I am Arun, I did my bachelors in engineering from one of the reputed college in India. Soon after pursuing B.Tech Degree I joined IBM as a software programmer in 2006. First two years I was posted in Delhi(India) and worked in telecommunication industry. From 2008 I started working from Bangalore(India) and switched to Manufacturing Domain. I am part of an IBM team which is supporting the manufacturing flow of Atlascopco - a global industrial group of companies headquartered in Stockholm, Sweden. The company manufactures products on 68 production sites in 20 countries. In 2010 I got a 2 months opportunity to go to the client Site of ATLASCOPCO in Belgium and I was assigned the job to learn their business process. I was expected to learn the process & suggest optimized solution to their manufacturing operation strategy spread across different business units. Later in 2011 April i was sent as a senior consultant. I am still in the same role and my responsibilities are to understand the new business requirements of Atlascopco and translate the same into a software architecture. Later it is my responsibility to implement this idea into their ERP system. Apart from this I have the role of co-ordination in client site in Belgium and leading the offshore development team in India.
I took my GMAT this march and got a score of 750. I have a B-Tech Degree in electrical and electronics with a aggregate 70 %(we dont have GPA system) . I am looking forward for the R1 application cycle for the admissions of classes starting in 2013. By that time I will be having more than 6 years of work experience. I request you to have a peer review of my profile and also suggest me some very strong schools for applying.
Hello,
With the limited information given here, your gmat is well above average of top 10 US schools or rather any school across world.
GMAT is just a part of application, so you should ideally start working on
1) Shortlisting 6/7 colleges based on your choice of your choice
2) Essays
3) Short term - long term goals
4) Interactions with the chosen schools' current students etc
Good Luck
