Well, I tried hard to get an 800, but fell a bit short. The quant was a mixture of easy questions and difficult ones. I finished with 3 seconds to spare because I double checked all of my answers. Verbal went more smoothly: I had 15 minutes to spare. I will write more later- maybe next year I'll get that elusive 800. Make sure you are good with exponents and with approximating!

congratulations!! Did you notice the difficultly level at 50 V? It looks like you got 1 question wrong on verbal.

Some of the CR and RC was similar to LSAT questions. I don't think the difficulty level changes from 40V to 50V- your score is simply a function of how many mistakes you make on these difficult questions

I am a GMAT instructor in Madrid and so my getting a 790 isn't nearly as impressive as MBA aspirants who score 700+ after a few weeks of practice. I try to do the exam every year to keep my knowledge fresh and see in a general sense what people have to know to score well.

Quadratic Formula Congratulations! Even as an instructor it's a huge feat! Any guidelines for the verbal? I just got hold of LSAT RC to practise their RC and have been practising LSAT CR. Have you seen the GMAT Club Tests and do you think the level is comparable? I guess as an instructor you probably prepare your own questions too. Well I sure envy your students in Madrid.
