Hi
I scored 720. Quants 99 percentile Verbal 79 percentile.

Have a basic degree in Engineering from REC (Regional Engg College in INDIA). After that I have a work experience of 3 years in a manufacturing firm.

Later i joined a PhD equivalent FPM course at IIMB - completed 3 years there but could not complete the course.

I have taken advanced courses in quants and econometrics with a grade of B and above. My engineering grade is about 3.2

Where should I apply? What are the chances that i make it to some institute like Tepper School, Haas Berkley or Chicago.

How was your performance in the FPM? On what terms did you leave that program?

I completed the course work and the comprehensive exams without problems. I can say that in coursework i was amongst the top half of the batch.
Then i wanted to work on modeling and joined a group making my intentions clear. But my guide wanted me to focus on qualitative research - i tried for about six months but things did not work out - one of the thesis committee member was not convinced about my proposal - perhaps even I was not. With good will - my thesis chair and I agreed to seperate ways.

I formed another committee and presently have stated them that i want a break for about one year due to my financial status. So thats it to it.
