GMAT Advice [#permalink] New post 18 Nov 2011, 21:05
Hi all! I am taking the GMAT in 4 weeks. I took 4 of the 6 tests that I bought from Manhattan GMAT and got various scores centering around 550. The highest score I got was a 570 and I am trying to break the 600 mark...I would really like a 620. I am having trouble breaking into the 600s though.

I think my biggest issue is timing in that I just keep running out of time or rushing. When I do not time myself I will score in the 600s but I don't know how to make this happen in real time. I would appreciate any advice at all! Thanks!

What materials have you used to study?

About timing strategies, I would suggest this: timing-strategies-on-the-gmat-80176.html

Hi bb,
I used the Manhattan Guides for the mathematics sections and the Official guides. I completed both Verbal and Quant Reviews and have finished all of the 12th edition. I also downloaded the 116 LSAT reading comp exercises from this forum and have been doing about 6 passages a day @ 13 minutes a passage...typically I have 3 minutes or so left over.

My exam is in 4 weeks and I really want to go to Fordham business school. My score is in their range, but their median is 618, and I would really like to be at that score. I will check out the site you recommended. Thank you.
