I am looking to sign up for the GMAT on June 22. But before I sign up for the test I have a question - the program I want to apply to has an application deadline of July 1. Will that be enough time to have my scores reported and available to the program I'm applying to? I know in reading this forum that you see your score immediately once the test is done, but I've also read that it takes 20 days to have them officially reported to the schools you chose. So I don't want to rush and take the GMAT only to find out that my scores won't even be available to them by the application deadline!
Or is there another way to report the score to the school I'm applying to? Any help would be appreciated as I need to decide very soon if I will sign up for the June 22 exam date or if that's going to be too late to meet application deadlines!
I've taken it twice and though it does say that it may take up to 20 days to get your score, I've always gotten it within 2 weeks. I'm pretty sure some folks may get it even sooner. However, I wouldn't bank on it. You should check with the school and see what the adcom thinks about it. Tell the school of your situation and see what the school says. It'll be much more accurate than anyone here second-guessing it.
