GMAT Books Verbal/Math vs complete Guide [#permalink] New post 13 Oct 2004, 13:04
Hi Club Members,

Kaplan and Princeton have seperate books on Verbal and Math.
They also sell complete guide "Kaplan 2005 guide with CD and Princeton's Cracking GMAT 2005 with CD".

Please let me know whether contents are same or different bet Kaplan's Verbal/Math (seperate books) and Kaplan 2005 guide with CD.

Similarly bet Princeton's Verbal/Math (seperate books) and Princeton's Cracking GMAT 2005 with CD.

Also, please let me know whether Complete guide is preferred over sectional books (i.e. Math/Verbal) or vice versa.

Thanks,
Smark

Mark,

I'm not sure about PR, but I can tell you that the verbal and math questions are virtually identical in the Kaplan math/verbal books and complete GMAT guide. It's unfortunate but they recycle their questions.

The PR verbal/math workbook are not worth buying if you have the actual book that comes with the CD. The 2005 PR CAT is a much improved version of 2004 and I definitely recommend it despite "clone" OG questions. Read the last post of this thread for the 2005 PR CD
