Nice!

Two things I noticed though,
Leaders in 2011, the percentages for both schools should be 'greater than the average' (33 is 254% of 13)

And in the table, (GMATClubAdmits)/(ClassSize) != (%ofClassThatsGMATClub) since we arent accounting for the percentage of GMATClubAdmits that end up matriculating at that school.

Still, really cool to see the success that GMATClubbers have experienced.

Thanks for the results! Very helpful to see where I landed on that board ;)

How did you get the official admit rates for 2011 though? Is that already widely available?

Besides from being one of the top schools, how come Kellogg has so many applicants? I'm from outside the US so I don't know anything about demographics or other factors that might explain the high numbers.

You're right about the percentages. I was calculating the incremental difference (13-13)/13 as opposed to 33/13, but happy to do it either way.

Agreed! Admit does not mean Matriculation and last year (Fall 2010) we tracked matriculation numbers much better but this year (Fall 2011) that seems to have fallen through and only a few school masters kept track of that. It is possible that one person got into 3 schools (Admitted) but naturally Matriculated only into one. This next year (Fall 2012), we should have all the numbers :)

This is awesome! Absolutely great statistics!
Thank you bb for collectin tshi in all one.

I hope that this year we will have even more accurate data to trace the conclusions.
What we need to do is regularly to update our application profiles.

Its wonderful to have from 7% to -29% of classmates from the GMATCLUB!!!

I think it starts at 3% ;)
(HBS and Stanford are only at 3%)

They are very fresh. You can find them here: https://grad-schools.usnews.rankingsandr ... a-rankings
(I believe they are for 2011 as they were different from 2010 in terms of class size and admission rate).

P.S. Also thank you for asking - I found that a last year's rate was used in the Ross calculation and that was inflating the numbers. Also, a confusion in my calculation of Winners & Losers (I was calling percents what really was not percents. I took that section down as it was more confusion than help). I will post it back when I figure out a clean way to do it. Perhaps a chart....

Ok. I added one chart

I think I have a solution.
We do not have our average Matriculation Rates but I will be assuming GMAT Club Members had the same Yield Rate as other applicants (close enough I think)
