GMAT Club Beta Tests Interpretation [#permalink] New post 30 Jun 2014, 05:34
Hello,

I am subscribed to GMAT Club Tests and gave a quant beta test today.

My result showed correct of 25 with incorrect of 12 but still it showed my quant score of 51.

When I checked for 700+ ques, there were total of 17 such questions out of which 10 were correct.

Can someone please explain if this scoring algorithm is correct. As I would be giving more tests in future, it would really help to understand it correctly.

Many thanks.

Nishant.

Hi. Thank you for the message. This result is inflated. There is a known issue with the scoring in the new Beta tests. They are more generous with the scoring.
I would recommend taking the tests in the old interface for another week or so.

I would guess (though a very rough guess) that your score is more in line of 41-44 on the CAT's based on the wrong question count (though that's an imprecise way of calculating)
