GMAT Club challenges (Help Needed) [#permalink] New post 10 Aug 2007, 08:27
Hi everyone,

I just took one GMAT challenge and the result is total disaster as per my knowledge. I scred a mere 55 percentile. I wanted to know whether problems in real GMAT are anywhere close to challenge problems? If, yes i am certainly gonna postpone my appointment on 18th august.

Science student scoring so badly....yukk...

gsklo101,

Don't get discouraged. I scored about the same on Challenge 8...review the questions you missed and find out why you missed them. Remember the Challenges are hard! They are fair, but represent some of the hardest Qs you will see on the GMAT. With a little bit of work I'm sure you'll improve your %. Personally I'm getting 75-80% on the challenges now (after one week) so it's just a question of applying yourself. To give you a better idea I scored a 48 on quant on GMAT Prep 1, and have been around a 47 on MGMAT. So don't get discouraged, use the challenges as an important learning tool and g'luck!

no, GMAT Club challenges are MUCH harder than the real test, but it's DESIGNED to be that way so you really learn the concepts and know how to do the questions quickly. I don't know how the percentiles work compared to the GMAT itself, so someone else will have to answer that... :)
