GMAT CLUB'S Question Collection For Sale [#permalink] New post 06 Oct 2003, 09:31
Expert's post
GMAT Club has started an experiment to try raise some money for operations, research, and marketing as well as hosting and software support by attempting to sell a select collection of questions by Stolyar and BB.

We will be glad to hear your comments and suggestions. Obviously this site started not because of money, for it was, it would have shut down long ago, but we are trying to see if it can be in any financially self-sustaining.

Bogdan,
I purchased your questions, but I cannot open them. I have already sent an email to email support. My computer cannot open zip files. Is there any way to send those questions to me in an "unzipped form"?

Thanks,

With paypal all you need to do is have a valid Credit Card - you don't need to establish an account. It is currently functioning as a Payment Gateway.

Sorry, currently drecit and debit cards are the only payment methods we accept.

Wrong Answer Provided in one of the sample question of Quant [#permalink] New post 29 Jan 2005, 01:49
The Ans of one of the question posted in view sample question is wrong :
46. Is 10n + 8 divisible by 18 ?
(1) n is prime
(2) n is even

(A) Statement (1) ALONE is sufficient, but Statement
(2) alone is not sufficient
(B) Statement (2) ALONE is sufficient, but Statement
(1) alone is not sufficient
(C) BOTH statements TOGETHER are sufficient, but
NEITHER statement ALONE is sufficient
(D) EACH statement ALONE is sufficient
(E) Statements (1) and (2) TOGETHER are NOT

The Ans is A.But it should be c.
For eg if n=19 .It is divisible by 18 but for prime no less than 19 it is not divisible by 18.
For C,the no is only 2 & we can tell if it is divisible or not.

Thank you so much for solving these!

It is actually my bad - I have copied the question from MS Word and as the result lost the power sign. It should be 10^n, not 10*n.

My applogies and congratulations. I will be glad to provide you Mr. Singh with our question collection #2. Please email me <bogdan at gmatclub.com >
