I'm new to the site, and have been reading around and slowly catching on to you people's GMAT lingo : )

For anyone who hasn't figured it out yet, heres what I've deduced so far:

Test features:
CAT = Computer adaptive test
AWA = Analytical writing assessment
CR = Critical reasoning
SC = Sentence correction

Study tools:
GMATprep = free online practice test software from the official source @ http://www.mba.com
OG = Official guide (the only practice book with Real GMAT Questions, also available from the official guys @ http://www.mba.com.)
MGMAT = Manhattan GMAT @ http://www.manhattangmat.com/
Challenges = GMAT Club tests available for sale @ http://gmatclub.com/wiki/Tests

However, I'm still not sure which of the Manhattan GMAT's test resources people are referring to when they say MGMAT. I'm guessing that it means the "Computer Adaptive Practice Exams" available on the Manhattan GMAT site for $39, but want to be sure before I buy. Please let me know if you have any advice!

MGMAT is anything provided by Manhattan. It could be MGMAT books or CATS, both are great study tools.

Buy any new 2007-08 MGMAT book for about $17 and you get the tests for free, even the MGMAT people tell you to go that route on their website.
