My best advice would be to give it one more shot, because schools take the highest score... so you've not much to lose, really. And a higher score can mean admission to a better program, which can lead to a better job and potentially even a higher starting salary... so it can be a long-term investment for sure! It's quite common to take it more than once and some admissions officers have even said they wonder why someone does NOT try again if they receive a score well below the average at a given program.
