GMAT Official guides [#permalink] New post 09 Jul 2009, 00:04
Hi All,

I am new to the forum. I have a question about GMAT Official guides.

Are 'Official Guide for GMAT Verbal Review' and 'Official Guide for GMAT Quantitative Review' part of 'Official Guide for GMAT Review, 12th Edition' ??

Am I supposed to buy all three of the above or will Official Guide for GMAT Review suffice ?? Please advise.

Thanks.

Hello and welcome to GMATClub!
The three books contain NON-overlapping questions.

OG 12 has about 900 math and verbal questions
OG Quant has 300 math-only questions (not included in OG 12)
OG Verbal has 300 verbal-only questions (not included in OG 12)

You should start your prep with a general all-in-one book such as Kaplan Premiere and then work towards more specialized books such as PowerScore SC or Manhattan GMAT CR. Then finish up your prep with the Official Guide.

Hi!

So, if I buy these three books for takeing my Gmat in february, i should be able to break the 700?? Would this be enough for geting a good mark in the quantitative section?

Thankyou very much!
