GMAT on 4-May - Suggest. [#permalink] New post 28 Apr 2013, 07:32
My date with GMAT is 4-May. Following have been my mock results so far:

    MGMAT1 - 17-Mar-2013 - 650 (Q43, V36) - Had timing issues, panicked on seeing difficulty level in Quant.
    MGMAT2 - 31-Mar-2013 - 660 (Q44, V36) - Reduced the number of careless errors in Quant.
MGMAT3 - 06-Apr-2013 - 700 (Q45, V40) - Got used to the length of exam by this time. Did not have to rush.
    GMATPrep1 - 17-Apr-2013 - 730 (Q49, V41) - No timing issues.
    MGMAT4 - 22-Apr-2013 - 680 (Q42, V40) - Got stuck in Quants.
    GMATPrep2 - 27-Apr-2013 - 750 (Q49, V42) - No timing issues. Finished quant with 6 mins remaining. Finished Verbal with 7 mins remaining.

I feel that Quant in MGMAT is very difficult and calculation intensive. I normally feel stuck on certain questions in MGMAT while in GMATPrep, I did not feel much pressure.

Please suggest what I shall study during the last week. I have downloaded the GMATPrep SC/CR/RC question dumps and was thinking of going through them casually. My target score is a mare 720.

That might be a good idea. Don't exert too much, but do go through the G-prep questions. You may also take a CAT (with AWA and IR) as you still have 4 days left for your test.
Go through your error-log once or twice. If you are feeling confident with rest of your stuff, prepare a bit for AWA and IR. Sleep well before the test and good luck!

Ended up not studying at all for the entire week and done with GMAT today.

Scored a 720 (Q48, V41).

Following are the impressions:
Quant is much harder than that in GMATPrep and OG12/13.
RC/CR is almost of the same difficulty as GMATPrep Question Pack1.
SC is much more around the intended meaning now.
