My GMAT is on Tuesday. I've been studying since July, and have postponed taking the test twice now. I really want to get it over with already, but I'm still having serious problems with math and am wondering if I should go through with it...
Basic outline of my situation: I've been doing the
MGMAT Practice tests, and working through practice problems from OG12 and
OG Quant Review. Whether on practice tests or problem sets, I've been error logging from the beginning and going back to study those problems.
I also went through the Kaplan Math Workbook and the
MGMAT book on Equations, Inequalities, and VICs since my weak point has consistently been Algebra.
I'm happy with my verbal score, it has consistently been in the range 40-45
But my math score seems to be stuck around 39-40. I have a lot of trouble with timing and this score reflects me doing #1-20 as I normally would, guessing every other or every third problem for #21-32, and guessing the last 5-6 questions completely randomly or not finishing the last 1-2 questions in time.
I took a GMATPrep test yesterday and scored a 29 on Quant. This did not help my confidence.
Does anyone have any advice on timing for the math? I'm completely lost on what to do this point and could really use some words of wisdom! I don't to chicken out again but I also don't want to go to the testing center unless I'm confident that my goal score (700) is attainable.
