I wouldn't worry. It's more for proof of ID than anything else.

I never thought about it this way - I can't say "no" for sure but there is a pretty darn high probability as we have never heard of it....
So, don't worry about that, just dress comfortably and in layers. The schools, will however, get your AWA essays.

Thanks. I actually took the test already. I just wonder how many schools will actually see me wearing my good luck beard. Business schools are beard haters, from what I hear.

The photo will have no effect on the outcome of your applications. Especially with your GMAT score :)

I gave my GRE 2 months back and I think they did take my foto. I am not sure if it is a requirement of ETS or the prometric centre.

Anyways, I am pretty sure it is just for id purposes.

Oh they can! Just read the fine print!

see here: https://www.mba.com/mba/thegmat/gmatscor ... orereports

"The digital photograph you provided at the test center will be sent with your score report to the score recipients you select, if those recipients have asked to receive such information."

Fantastic Find!!! I was wondering about that...

Did you take the GMAT already? You said you would be taking in a few weeks but I see a 770 though no debrief.

I did already take the GMAT. (And you must be thinking of someone else. I didn't say that I would be taking it in a few weeks, unless you're referring to a post I authored at or before the beginning of August.)

Yep, scored a 770. My photo, however, is probably about a 440.

Hahaha. It doesn't matter what you looked like in the photo. The most important is you passed the test. :)
