GMAT prep advice required [#permalink] New post 04 Jun 2011, 07:49
Hi,

I started preparing for the GMAT in April 2011.I was supposed to take GMAT in June.
However , due to some circumstances i had to postpone it and then I had to take a break of 20 days in May( a complete leave from studying).
Now,I am finding it difficult to connect back.

My scores earlier too were not that great ranging from 630 to 670 and even a 550 once.

Today when I took Kaplan GMAT CAT 3 from the CD,I scored 580 :(

I don't know how to get back into the study mode.

I know that my weakness is that I get into the panic mode when I am taking a full length test.I am an engineer by profession and good at maths and comfortable with English too.
So,I can't understand the reason for these low scores :(
I was almost through with studying OG 12 , powerscore CR , kaplan premier , manhattan RC and SC before I had to take a break.

I aim to get 720+ and I am planning to take the test date in the first week of August.

Please advise on how I can reach the intended score.I am not sure on my plan of action.

Any help is highly appreciated!!..

:thanks
