I think B is the best answer.
We were asked to find something that will be profitable in long economic terms.
As for C it otherwise goes for old method, by stating that the primar provides better corrosion protection, thus using new method is unpreferable. That leaves us with B because changing in bearing capacity has a straight connection with profits making from one trip (airplane can simply bear more cargo/people therefore can earn more money)

C is the best.

1. The fact that the manufacturers offer both the new process and the old one does not explain why the new process prefers over the old one althouth the price is higher. A out

2. B suggests that the new process are NOT preferable, B out

3. The purpose of the invention does not affect the statement why the new process is preferable. D out

4. The use of the same equipment for both the processes does not explain why the new one is preferable

clearly B

COz B says primer is thicker. and new method doesn't have primer and primers adds load to aircraft.

Ans is OA B

question asks us to decide what is in airline's long economic interest...option B talks about a layer of primer weighing more such that it can affect load bearing capacity. Airline business is dirctly affected by fuel price and fuel consumption per flight.Clearly option B talks about fuel consumption part. If primer weighs more means primer consumes more fuel to fly, with new paint which weighs less than primer meaning fly efficiently consuming less fuel. This is how in long run airline will save more money and hence it makes a complete economic sense to opt such a option
