COz B says primer is thicker. and new method doesn't have primer and primers adds load to aircraft.

Ans is OA B

question asks us to decide what is in airline's long economic interest...option B talks about a layer of primer weighing more such that it can affect load bearing capacity. Airline business is dirctly affected by fuel price and fuel consumption per flight.Clearly option B talks about fuel consumption part. If primer weighs more means primer consumes more fuel to fly, with new paint which weighs less than primer meaning fly efficiently consuming less fuel. This is how in long run airline will save more money and hence it makes a complete economic sense to opt such a option
