The answer is 20.

\((\sqrt{9+\sqrt{80}} + \sqrt{9-\sqrt{80}})^2\)

\(= (\sqrt{9+\sqrt{80}} + \sqrt{9-\sqrt{80}})(\sqrt{9+\sqrt{80}} + \sqrt{9-\sqrt{80}})\)

\(= (9+\sqrt{80}) + 2\sqrt{9+\sqrt{80}}\sqrt{9-\sqrt{80}} + (9-\sqrt{80})\)

\(= 18 + 2\sqrt{9^2-\sqrt{80}^2}\)

\(= 18 + 2\sqrt{1}\)

\(= 20\)

Here is the code of the Math Tags:

Code:
The answer is [b]20[/b].

[m](\sqrt{9+\sqrt{80}} + \sqrt{9-\sqrt{80}})^2[/m]

[m]= (\sqrt{9+\sqrt{80}} + \sqrt{9-\sqrt{80}})(\sqrt{9+\sqrt{80}} + \sqrt{9-\sqrt{80}})[/m]

[m]= (9+\sqrt{80}) + 2\sqrt{9+\sqrt{80}}\sqrt{9-\sqrt{80}} + (9-\sqrt{80})[/m]

[m]= 18 + 2\sqrt{9^2-\sqrt{80}^2}[/m]

[m]= 18 + 2\sqrt{1}[/m]

[m]= 20[/m]
