Currently, some users are having issues activating the additional content with the newly released Mac OS. At this time, the GMATPrep software is only compatible with MAC OS X 10.6, 10.7, 10.8, 10.9. Our developer is working diligently to resolve this.
Please follow the manual workaround listed below to activate the GMATPrep Exam Pack 1/Question Pack 1 on your MAC:
Please uninstall the free GMATPrep® software if currently installed – if you have history data (exam scores, practice question sessions etc.) that you want to carry into the new install, make sure you click [No] when asked if you want the uninstall process to remove all data. Then re-install the latest version (v 2.3.322) which is available for download on mba.com:
www.mba.com/gmatprep.
Please follow the steps below to manually install the GMATPrep Exam Pack 1/Question Pack 1:
1. Open the GMATPrep application.
2. Click Settings at the bottom left of the GMATPrep software homepage.
3. Click the Installed Content tab.
4. On the bottom right of the Installed Content tab, click Install Additional Content button.
5. Locate the exam/question pack file on your computer.
6. Click OK.
7. Then click the Activate button to activate your exam/question pack.
Google Chrome tends to give issues. We recommend using Internet Explorer, Firefox, or Safari as your browser.
The steps listed above should allow you to activate the Exam Pack 1/Question Pack 1. If you are still unable to install and activate them, please reach out to
gmatprep@mba.com and provide a screen shot of any error messages you are seeing as well.
Thank you,
