Hi
I scored a 500 todayafter one month of prep,  I can't believe myself. I am aiming for a score higher than 650. Deeply brokenabout it. BUT I need some help for anyone who could respond. I would like to start from the scratch this time at any cost I would like to make it above 700.  I observed that even though my Quant what I prepared I felt as conffront I couldn't crack   over there.  My verbal was Iwas very slow at reading and understanding the rc and cr,  SC I was exceptionally good almost 80 percent of the tim.

I am  considering of buying the verbal section at e gmat I think it's expectionally good and their sessions would boost my capability over verbal. However about the Quant Iam not able tto understand which would suit me which would give a strong foundation from basics and help me improve drastically.  I have been seeing the mgmat courses and workshops for Quant.  I would like to know which ones to get and how to create a strategy for myself . Disturbed over the incident  I want to start from scratch and get through the 700 barrier

Hi there,

I'm sure you will do better next time. I also felt broken after my first attempt. Thought I would never break 600. It looks like we scored about the same on the first attempt. I went on to review the basics and then I went straight to the gmatclub tests using them to improve my knowledge and become more confident. They cover everything you need to know for quant and more.

Hi

First of sorry for the subject of this post, I was posting from my phone so the prediction messed it up.
Could you let me know how you reviewed your basics what kind of stuff you followed and did you practise any kind of assignments, how did u work on it. The club tests you mean you just did the whole mock tests or how.


Detailed Suggestions to reinitiate my process of preparation would be most welcome by others too.

For the basics, I reviewed the Manhattan Gmat guides. Then I moved onto the gmatclub test questions. I used the gmatclub test questions more for learning concepts. I started with the 500 level to see if I had enough basic knowledge. Then I moved onto 600 and then finally 700. After completing all the gmatclub questions, I went onto gmatprep to see if it helped. I felt that the gmatprep questions were alot easier after doing the gmatclub questions.
