a - Number of 7 in the series
b - Number of 77 in the series

7a + 77 b = 350

a + 11b = 50

b= 1 and a = 39 therefor 39 * 7 + 1* 77 = 350 n= 50
b= 2 and a = 28 n= 30
b= 3 and a = 17 n =20


So clearly n =40 is the best choice.
