GMAT prep tests? [#permalink] New post 29 Oct 2012, 12:08
I'm sure this question has been asked a million times before, but I'm in a rush at work and don't have time to do the research right now.

The GMATPrep software that I downloaded from mba.com contains two prep tests, and they're similar to the GMAT in the sense that the questions are adaptive. Where can I find more of these tests? Are there any free resources by any chance?

Thank you in advance.

The GMATPREP software contains only 2 CATs and these are the only two CATs that the GMAC provides. However, you may want to take each of these CATs at least twice. Since each of the Verbal and Quant sections in these CATs contains 250 questions, so you are likely to see only a few repeat questions. Some even take these tests thrice as these tests contain retired GMAT questions and are close to what you are likely to see on the GMAT.

Thanks. ANy others? I see that Manhattan has some free CATs. Are they any good?

There really isn't anything that matches the GMATPrep software, but see this link for a brief description of your options: all-gmat-cat-practice-tests-links-prices-reviews-77460.html?fl=menu

CAT Tests

GMAT prep CATs are hands down the best. As stated earlier, you can do both of them multiple times and not see many repeat questions. After the GMAT prep tests, I would use the MGMAT CATs.
