GMAT Reporting [#permalink] New post 31 May 2012, 17:41
Hi guys, I'm new to the forum. I'm applying to a school right now that does take the GRE and the GMAT. I did substantially better on the GRE than the GMAT. I did not select any schools to get my report for either test as it was my first time taking both and I wanted to see how I would do. I told the admissions director at the school I'm applying to that I was taking the GMAT and did not tell her I was taking the GRE. She kept telling me that she was looking for my GMAT scores and they weren't showing up and I get the feeling she doesn't think I took the GMAT. Can she look to see if I took the GMAT without me reporting my scores? I'm trying to figure this out...thanks for your help.

If you didn't report, no school will see your score. Schools get score releases based on the schools you select. No selection, no score report.

Right, I get that for sure. But can she see that I even took it or would I have to report my score for her to see that I attempted the test?

The school will only be able to see that you took the test if you select that specific school to recieve your scores. Other than that, your scores are 100% private and your own. If you want to the school to see your school then you will need to give them access to your score through MBA.com, and i believe it will cost $25. They will be unable to see anything about you without you providing them access for privacy reasons.
