GMAT Retake - Advice [#permalink] New post 24 Sep 2011, 15:59
I took gmat yesterday after studying for 6 months. My results were extremely disappointing 530. I need advice on how to improve my GMAT Score to over 620

Here is a list of all the books I USED:

1.GMAT Official GUIDE 2011 AND 2010
2. Powerscore CRITICAL REASONING
3. Kaplan GMAT MATH workbook
4. CLIFF NOTES MATH REVIEW FOR STANDARDIZED TESTS
5. Kaplan 800
In addition I did the KAPLAN PREP COURSE and went through the books and online material available.

Honestly I have not hope left after going through all these books

Any recommendations to improve QUANTITATIVE SECTION?

Thanks!

I know exactly where you are coming from as my scores after studying for a long time were not that great either.

I'm studying to take the GMAT again in November (wish me luck) and I have found the Manhattan series of books (Quant and Verbal) extremely helpful. They help lay a foundation in both sections that will serve you well in your preparations. I think those along with the OG12 should help you get closer to your goal.
