i have taken GMAT twice.

first on got 480 q33 v20 awa 5............may 2006
seconde got 700 q49 v35 awa waiting.. .sept 2006

i am not planning take the test again.

but my question is would the low score from the first try work against me?
or could i turn that into something positive?? how will about doing it? should i mention it in the essay ? or just let the adcom figure it for them self once they get the official scores ??

should i take the gmat some more times?

once again thank you and waiting for your reply..

NO! Definitely don't take the GMAT again!

Wow, I have to say that that's an amazing improvement. I wouldn't really spend any time discussing it in essays, though. The adcomms who do see both scores wll recognize the improvement you made. At most, you may get a question in an interview. But let your score stand on your its own. Don't waste valuable space in your essays discussing your score.
