I recently gave my GMAT and scored 690. I have 5 years of workex in oil and gas sector as a mechanical design engineer. I have considerable on site experience and have been to Korea on a official business trip. Please guide which colleges should I apply to? Is isb possible at this score? My target colleges preference wise are:
1. ISB
2. NUS
3. McCombs
4. Any other if you could suggest

Hey there,
I’d love to help you out but your profile is much more than just a GMAT score and without more info it’s gonna be hard. Where do you work? What do you do? How quickly have you advanced? Do you have any leadership? What are your great achievements? Do you have notable community service or extra curriculars? Which school did you graduate from?

All of these will play important roles in your evaluation.
Best,
Jon

I have been working with Samsung Engineering as a design engineer from past 5 years. I have been into various leadership roles working at site with 100 workers working under me and also in office as a key person of various projects. In addition to this i have been to korea on a business trip from office. Got an early promotion based on my performance. Plus for the love of maths, I have taught in one of the premier coaching institute as a quant faculty. I have done considerable amount of social work through company's CSR initiative. My GPA is 7.25 and have done B.Tech from a YMCA Faridabad, India. Also have organised tech fest and cultural fest in college.

Hello there,
Well overall you have a good profile. Your GMAT is a bit low for Top 15 schools, but I think you can aim in the 15-30 range for US business schools. If retaking the GMAT is an option, you may want to consider that.

Otherwise I can specifically recommend Rice, which is a very strong Oil and Gas school, and might fit you perfectly.

I think overall ISB will be a "Dream school" for you , and the other two will be challenging, but not impossible.

I hope this helps!
Best,
Jon
