What about replacing Princeton Review with VeritasPrep? PR's algorithm, IMO, is not up to the par. Any opinion, bb?

Thanks! I think it would be good to add it as another slider/option. I may need to contact the designers about that.... any others?

I've been using this tool regularly, and think the scoring is flawed when it comes to kaplan scores. I think the tool has been for quite a few years and needs a serious update. I've been scoring consistently well on kaplan, but my scores on gmat prep and manhattan have been much lower (60-70). Not just on the basis my scores, but on the quality of the tests too. MGMAT tests and even the GMAT Prep have a much higher level of difficulty than the kaplan tests. I'd suggest consider getting down the score estimates by atleast 60-70 for the kaplan tests. They are way way way too easy. Hope this helps. Nitin

For the next version of this software, I think it would be helpful to publish an n-size for each of the tests. For those of us nerds out there, it would really help gauge the accuracy of the predictions.

You have to use the latest one or average if you feel that you need to include both (if you had an unusual situation you want to smooth out).

There are quite a few data points but we clean up the DB and usually only use the last 12 months (to accommodate the changes any of the test prep companies have made to their algorithms)... each test has usually around 200 data points.

I just want to point out that Knewton stopped offering their free practice exam some time ago.

When was the Princeton Review option replaced? Still mentions it in the explanation above the tool, maybe that should be removed. Any reason for the decision?
