GMAT Score target 600-650 [#permalink] New post 23 Jan 2012, 06:17
Hello guys,

I have a question and I´m sure you can help me :-D .

I just started my preparation for the GMAT and I want to take it at the end of March. My score goal is between 600 and 650.

So my question is what books are required? Is OG12 + quant part + verbal part enough to earn such a score or would you recommend some other books?

I already read the post regarding the different preparation books and what the dis-/ and advantages are of each book, but I couldn´t really estimate what books would be enough to score between 600 and 650.

I´m almost sure that anybody before asked such a question, but I couldn´t find it. So if you post a link, that would be also fine.

Thanks

Dominik

You'll be on a very good shape by march if you obtain Manhattan Gmat. Also you'll need OG 12 for practice. you will do just great.
good luck

You'll need OG Verbal, OG Quant and the OG-12 book as the basic material.

I would suggest buying the MGMAT suite (specifically the MGMAT SC book), the MGMAT Number Properties book and some of the other quant books you want to. Please also go through the entire GMATClub Online Maths Book available free here - I think it is the best quants book.

Buying one MGMAT book will ensure you have access to all 6 MGMAT Mock tests.

Do download the GMATPrep tests, reinstall and retake them once done - they are the best!

You will also have the Knewton, Kaplan, Veritas and Platinum GMAT tests for practice.

Please download the PS, DS questionnaire by Bunuel on GMATClub. On verbal, please download all books by whiplash (available in her signature), SC notes by Gayathri, Spidey - these are all freely available in the download page here.
