Hi,
1. I have 4 years of business development experience - overall 10
years of experience. What is the total score I should aim for to get
admission in Warthon or Harward or Kellog?

2. I am getting a score of 590 / 560 in Crack Gmat. Do I conveniently
add 100 to confidently say I will be able to score 690 in the actual
test. I have not taken Kaplan or Prionceton yet.

Thanks,
Rupal.

800. No seriously, we typically recommend that you surpass at least the lower end of the 80% range of scores of admitted students. In the case of the schools that you mentioned, that's approx: 660.

No that's not very accurate at all. We highly recommend taking a PowerPrep exam. It is an actual GMAT exam and therefore tends to give a much more accurate score. You can get a hold of such an exam for free at: http://www.mba.com

Best,

Omari

Well that's just the point. 660 is probably only *okay* for those schools. In other words that's the minimum that we'd say it's okay to apply with. But naturally the higher you score, the more chance you'll have (probably up to 740/750, at which point all scores pretty much become equal).

But remember there is much much more to the application then your GMAT. You could score a 790 and get rejected easily (happens all the time). So in terms of what you should shoot for, well you probably should shoot for around the mean, but know that it's just one factor.

We highly recommend the 10th Edition Guide. It's the only one with actual questions from the GMAT. http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/de ... 8&v=glance

i agree that crack gmat gives the right approximation of your actual score so please take it serously and improve on your scores.

but i dont think powerprep gives the right scores ,i feel it is outdated because the questions in real GMAT were way tougher,in my opinion they were more like crack GMAT
