The answer is (D) because Triangle ORU (if you take O as the centre of the circle is an equilateral triangle) and so length of line segment RU will be 4.

I guess it just has to strike you at that moment

Length of Arc = r * x
where x = central angle
r = radius
substituting that you get x = 60 degrees, so triangle RTU becomes an equilateral triangle, and RU = 4
Q17:
reduces to
x/ (x + y) = k / 30
Substituting for k from the choices will give you the right answer.

Q20:
Median is the middle number.
If Avg == 120K and Jane's house == 120K it follows that one person's has to be above 120 K and the other's below 120K, which makes Jane's house the median

Q34:

If 1) is true, line l is parallel to y=1 - x, so has the same slope.
2) does not provide anything by itself.
