Gmat this Sat, help with IR! [#permalink] New post 10 Jul 2012, 17:25
Hi Folks... taking the GMAT for the 2nd time this Saturday. My 1st try was 600 and wasn't happy so re-taking now. Of course, since that time (in May) they introduced the new section. At first I brushed this off since I've done data analysis in my job and it seemed that it was the bulk of it. Now that I am taking some practice problems I am freaking out as it is taking me 5+ minutes to do some of these table/analysis problems. If I rush through them I typically get one of them wrong because I missed some detail and of course no partial credit so I get screwed. I am getting 700's on my practice exams now but I am bombing the IR section with scores in the 4's. I am freaking out here and adding to my stress so I was wondering if anyone else had issues with timing on the IR section and if anyone can offer any last minute advice? I will be applying next year to a part-time or executive program.
