Thank you for using the timer!
We noticed you are actually not timing your practice. Click the START button first next time you use the timer.
There are many benefits to timing your practice, including:
I've written a simple timer (for Windows XP, Vista) for GMAT. It will definitely be useful in preparation. 12/29/2010 Please, use it as it is. I won't support it at least for the near future. If you need a more sophisticated timer, please, take a look at the GMAT ToolKit(iPhone/iPod Touch application). If somebody wants to improve it, I will find and send you source files (CodeGear, Delphi) Thanks, Walker.
OMG! You are awesome man!! I just starting preparing for GMAT and realized that I had a terrible timing issue. I was looking for stopwatches and all when I found this marvellous gadget of yours.. Thanks again for helping the GMAT aspirants.
We need someone to improve a bit the Walker's Timer. All of us will appreciate your innitiative. I am a barbarian in Delphi and other programming languages.
The idea is to add a tick-mark under each answer choice, which would mean your second choice (very often, one after eliminating 3 wrong answer choices struggles between remaining two, which are both good contenders). For example tickmark B, but the first choice is A. If there is no second contender just leave a tickmark blank. From technical point of view I think it is not so dificult to implement. There must be a restriction for only one tickmark I mean there are often only two good contenders, from which one is correct and one is wrong.
It would be very useful tool when it comes to analysing own mistakes, and shows you whether you thoughts and doubts were close enough to the correct answer choice. This will help you to improve your solving skills and accuracy.
