Hi!

Today morning, I received a call from HULT Intl. Business Schools' recruiting manager regarding admissions for MBA program.

I hail from India and am a non-native English speaker. I am yet to take my GMAT. As far as I knew and from discussions with some of my friends who are/were into international business schools, they said that only GMAT score would suffice. We don't need to appear any other English proficiency tests.

After talking to HULTs' recruiting manager, I was made aware that along with GMAT score, I will have to submit the score of an English proficiency test.

Can someone please clarify my doubt?

Yes, most non-US applicants have to submit a TOEFL score.

The requirement is sometimes waived if your undergrad classes were in English. This is on a school by school basis and you will have to Che k with HULT about it.

Most likely they will require it if they have told you so already.

Yes, as bb has mentioned, you will have to take the TOEFL or IELTS. I live and work in the United States and still all the schools that I'm applying to have asked me to take the TOEFL/IELTS since my under grad degree was not from US.

Some Schools do waive off this requirement and this depends on a case-to-case basis as well as on the school.

My friend just get accepted at Hult and they sure need a TOEFL for non-native English speaker

I was under the impression that my graduate education was done in English, so I might not need to appear for an English test. Now all the questions have been clarified.

I have Got 400 on GMAT and 6 on IELTS . Is there any chance to get admission at any USA business school?

you can go to nearest good agent of Dhaka for good information.
