Thanks, Walker Yes - it's fixed now - thanks a lot! GreginChicago wrote: Hi Walker,
I can't wait to try out this app. I am actually going to buy an iPad very soon and the GMAT ToolKit will be my first app on it. Do you guys have stats about how many you sold total/ over time / by version? Any way to know whether people use it on 1/ iPhone 2/ipod Touch 3/ iPad 4/a combination of those?
Can you actually 'sync' the data (scores, history of tests results, etc...) between multiple devices?
Greg I use it on the iPad more frequently, in combination with the Bamboo stylus on the scratchboard that is part of any in-app ebook or OG tracker. You can manually sync your data between devices, if you email yourself the raw data (option easy available within the trackers). You then copy paste into the app. It's not automatic, but it's easy enough IMHO. I also just realized the great value of the timer. If I wanna do Sackmann's questions, I can use the app's timer to keep track of those questions, or any other questions from other books. As for the usefulness on the iPhone: it's nice to have your MGMAT ebooks available anywhere you are. I have my iPhone with me more frequently than the iPad. The game is nice for on-the-way-practice and the hard quant questions are good too, though I prefer using the iPad's scratchboard (bigger). If you wanna practice on the iPhone I highly recommend MGMAT's free flashcards, they don't require any heavy sketches / calculations that would require a scratchboard. The questions are of very good quality and you can track your progress / practice different content areas etc.

In te end, it appears that around 500 more questions were loaded. Does that seems right? It did seem to scan up to 400-500 and then drop back down to around 200 a couple of times. 1) I had the same question a while ago, and MGMAT told me that this is not possible. I ended up selling my hardcopy books and then I purchased the ebooks within the app. 2) I think you have to do a number of questions until you can download new ones.

Hi All, We have good news for those of you who use Android-based devices. Although I'm personally not a big fun of Android (all these differences between devices such as different screen sizes just drive me crazy). After numerous posts like "When will I get GMAT ToolKit for Android?" we finally have found a great developer who is going to work full-time on porting GMAT ToolKit. Instead of porting all functions (it can take a lot of time and I think it's not going to happen this year) we are going to start with the most important tool - the Practice tool. So, wish us luck By the way, GMAT ToolKit 2.0 that we are working on will be able to synchronize data between not only iOS devices but also Android devices. Best, Walker

In the set of idiom flash cards, the example for "prevent from": I think "the" is needed for both "French defense" and "German army".

1) You can synchronize data but only manually. In the next generation GMAT ToolKit 2.0 it will be automatically. 2) the app has 311 the hardest quant questions from GMAT Club's tests. So, there are ~700 other quant questions in GMAT Club's tests that are a little bit less challenging

I think we still need a couple of months to finish synchronization mechanism.

The fast solution is to delete and reinstall the app. But it that case you will lose all data. If you have a recent backup, you can restore the app from it. If those options do not work for you, I will contact Apple asking about how to restore app's data. And even if they say that there is no way to restore data, the last thing we can do it to submit a fast update, so the App Store will install and hopefully it will work but it may take up to 2 weeks. Best, Walker

GMAT ToolKit 1.6.17 is submitted for review. What's new: + added more tags for the CR section of the OG 13 guide book + fixed typos in a few GMAT Club's flashcards Thanks for feedback! Best, Walker

That's a great idea. We are finishing GMAT ToolKit 2.0 that will do exactly what you are suggesting... and a little bit more

I guess we still need at least 3 months to finalize all work we do. Actually we are rewriting a little bit the app core mechanics and it takes time. Best, Walker

This might make the toolkit the most essential test prep: ROAD TO THE GMAT Take it Slow but don't forget the study Extensive Study plan for 3-4 months consisting of: Essential Guides such as OG 13, MGMAT guides, gmatclub math and grammar book Small goals EVERY week including OG problems and practice problems from the toolkit(not random but properly structured) Important webinars like thursdays with Ron, KAPLAN webinar reminders Weakness review week every month and suggest courses like e-gmat ot gmatpill for attacking particular weaknesses Advanced practice for the last month referring to gmatclub sets(to be integrated inside the app) and bunuel signatures for the quant sections Simultaneous graph charts for practice CATs scores for quick review of improvement Similar plans for 1 month Crash Course/ Verbal attach course/ Quant attack course This could make gmatclub the killer of them all. I am sure other things integrated into the extensive road to gmat might become something of more use once properly integrated. Walker, please don't ban me from this thread for making continuous suggestions without contributing a penny worth of work Cheers

Hi Walker, Is it possible to synchronize the App with the website's Workbook? why I am asking this is because I have answered a lot of questions from the forums using the App but none of them appear in my workbook.

You can't synchronize data between the GMAT ToolKit app and GMAT Club's forums but it's a great idea for future development! By the way, the 1.6.17 version is available for download. Best, Walker
