I checked on thursday and I think it was down. it might a probelm in phpBB?

This was talked about quite a bit on BusinessWeek.com. Several of us got suspicious emails from GMATCLub.com at the same time, with what may have been a virus.

It would be nice to hear from Praet or one of the other mods. What happened to our precious site?! What took it down?? Everyone's guessing it was hacked, but we can't imagine why anyone would do that to this site!

I got that suspicious email as well and my antivirus programme popped up as i clicked on that link so it was definitely a virus. My guess is also the site was hacked.

Yes, several other forums , including the GMAT Club, were attacked. Unfortunately, spyware download emails were sent to all the members.

Since then, we have upgraded the forum to the latest version and it has taken some time to get all the functionality back.

thank you for all the messages and emails. Its nice to know so many of you are taking advantage of all that the club has to offer. The best way to take advantage of the forum is to participate in it.
