2^9/2=2^8

Note that only the power "3" is squared and not the whole expression (2^3)

Thanks! I was under the impression that for x^n^n it was x^(n*n) instead of x^(n^n). Can anyone help clear up the Powers order of operations rules for me?

$$(2^3)^2=2^6$$,

but $$2^{3^2} = 2^9$$
